Brutus is a veteran Landsknecht who found brotherhood and brutal purpose under the oversized flags of the free companies. His half-orc strength made him a natural Doppelsöldner, earning double pay to stand in the front ranks and swing the devastating Zweihänder—a blade too heavy for lesser men.

But even his iron frame has limits. Years of wielding the massive sword have shredded the muscles and nerves of his dominant right arm, leaving it permanently scarred, bruised, and wracked by chronic pain.

To keep his edge, Brutus relies on a crude, highly potent combat stimulant. Before the drums sound and the pikes clash, he violently injects the thick, dark fluid directly into the veins of his sword arm. The drug offers a brief, glorious high of numbness and terrifying, adrenaline-fueled power, allowing him to swing the giant sword with the speed and force of a siege engine. The cost is visible: his right arm is a tapestry of track marks, his hands often tremble violently after the fight, and the eventual price is known only to the chaotic gods of war.

He is not just a killer; he is a man using chemical fire to stave off the body’s betrayal, fighting not for gold, but for the next fleeting moment of invincible strength.
